Welcome to the Hotel Committee website!
Your Hotel Committee is dedicated to all issues related to the accommodations that Compass pilots use while on company business. This starts with hotel selections, which involves site studies & visits, and continues with monitoring of the hotels you use each day. In addition to these duties, your Hotel Committee works with other Compass MEC Committees to coordinate efforts and issues regarding hotel accommodations. Some examples of collaborative efforts include:
- Discussions with the Scheduling Committee to determine if new hotels will be required due to changes in our route structure.
- Communicating with the Security Committee regarding issues of crew member safety while on overnights.
- Interacting with the Contract & Grievance Administration Committee to ensure hotels are contractually compliant.
Your Hotel Committee is committed to ensuring a comfortable, clean, and most importantly safe environment for Compass crews while traveling. We want this page to be a useful resource for our pilot group to visit. We will be updating it to inform you of the latest hotels issues, as well as the latest list of our current hotels. As always, the hotel feedback form is accessible from here. The feedback form is the most effective way to let the committee know of any unsatisfactory conditions or to give praise to the properties we stay at. The Feedback form data is retained for all complaints, and praise, for current and previous hotels.
We have put together a Frequently Asked Questions page to provide guidance for common questions or issues that may come up. We have also explained the hotel selection process.
