Welcome to the Membership Committee website!

The Membership Committee is dedicated to informing our pilot group on the many services and benefits that ALPA members have available to them. By maintaining accurate records of current members, we can reach out to the pilot group about new benefits and information that ALPA National provides us.

Some of these benefits include:

·     Aeromedical/AMAS
·     Furlough Assistance
·     Charles Schwab financial services
·     Insurance Programs
·     ALPA Federal Credit Union
·     ALPA Shopping Mall
·     Family Issues Assistance

The rest of the benefits provided can be found at alpa.org.

The Compass Membership Committee meets with all new hire classes on their second day of class. We provide them with essential information about ALPA and all of these great benefits. It’s also a perfect time to show the unity we have as union members by explaining how there is always a volunteer willing to give their time to help out each pilot with specific issues.

Another great thing the Membership Committee provides is the Mentor Program. This pairs each new hire pilot to a line pilot that has a similar background, when possible. The mentor is someone that the new hire can come to with questions about what to expect in their first year at Compass.  They stay in contact often to make sure things are going smoothly to ensure the new hires have a seamless transition from previous flying into the 121 world and Compass specific procedures.

We are dedicated to you (the members) and are always here to help in any way that we can!
